Enter the lake for swimming directly from the plot. The beach is shallow with sand bottom – excellent for small children. The total quietness may be interrupted for a few hours.

The living-room has a fireplace the dining table is placed by a large set of windows offering a stunning view over the lake. In the back of the room is one Queen size bed.
The bedroom has two bunk beds of the old Dalecarlian type, in total four (4 x 80 cm) beds. Additional twin beds (2 x 80 cm) is available in a small (6 m2) bedroom in the boathouse building.

Limited standard
The standard of the house is charmingly primitive. This means that you have neither electricity nor running water. All lighting comes from oil lamps and candles. Drinking water is collected from a covered well on the lot by winding up a chained bucket.
Personal hygiene matters are preferably carried out in the lake. The toilet (privy) is of type outside lavatory.
For a successful vacation, you should enjoy outdoor life close to the nature in a unique location with spectacular views. The standard does not appeal to those who require comfortable city living.
At lake Nissången, life style is ”back to basics” – outdoor life style. You are no longer constantly online “the net”.
Good fishing
The fishing in lake Nissången is good for perch and pike.
In the area you will find many lakes, rivers and smaller creeks that house grayling, trout, char, pike and different whitefish like perch. In most lakes and rivers you can use whatever gear you like, such as fly rod, casting rod or a classic rod with a line and a float. There are also a few lakes, which are stocked with rainbow trout.
The outflow of lake Nissången into river Sångån => Västerdalälven.
The river Västerdalälven, is the heart of the whole area and here you can have fantastic fishing for grayling and trout in the streams. And of course it also houses sizeable pikes and massive amounts of different whitefish. The fishing is easily accessible by the plentiful gravel roads that run through our countryside and forests.
